We collected 829 pounds of non-perishable food items in our recent Souper Bowl of Caring churchwide outreach! Thanks to everyone who was a part—through praying, donating food personally, and bringing food given by your neighbors. Thanks also to a group of our youth who sacrificed their time to collect food! We praise God for the food count which will bless those in need, as well as for His work in our hearts to motivate us to see the neighbors around us, literal and otherwise, and to use us to intentionally engage with them.
Joni & Friends – Summer Mission Trip
Are you interested in learning more about a summer opportunity to bless children with special needs? We are sending a team July 31-August 4 to the Joni & Friends Family Retreat in Pennsylvania. How about serving in Children’s Ministry?
We have a current need for more helpers in the nursery (0-24 months) during the 11:00am service. We always can use more helpers in the 2/3s and 4-8s as well! To be placed on the rotation schedule for children’s ministry, contact Regina Gossage (); for nursery, contact Bethany Johns ().

Our Refuge: Zion
Using the imagery of Mt. Sinai versus Mt. Zion from Hebrews 12:18-24, Pastor Jack reminded us that each day we have the choice to rely on our our effort or take the peace and rest that Jesus has given us. Listen to “Our Refuge: Zion.”
