Baptism – We are planning to include baptism in our Easter celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection. If you or someone in your family wants to proclaim faith in Jesus by being baptized, please contact Debbie Stevenson (). Parents, we have an excellent workbook that helps parents and kids understand the meaning of baptism. Contact Regina Gossage () to get a book and find out more about the process for children being baptized.

Membership Introduction Class – Interested in becoming a member of Blue Ridge or just want to learn more? Come to an introduction class on March 6, 9:30 a.m. in the library. This class will be offered on the first Sunday of each month and will kick-off the online and self-paced portion of the course. Email Debbie Stevenson () to sign up.

Women’s Coffee & Conversation – February 29
All BRBC women (18 years & up) are encouraged to use your leap year day by attending our Coffee & Conversation. Complete info is on The City, or contact our hostess Jan Murphy ( or 540-338-2480).

Special Congregational Meeting – March 6
All members are asked to attend a brief meeting after the 2nd service to vote on a budget change and to hear updates on God’s work here. The 11:00 service childcare for 2-8 year olds will continue for the parents attending the meeting, but all other children need to be picked up immediately after the worship service.

Baby Shower – March 6
Ladies, you are encouraged to come to a baby shower to honor Katie Haecker and her baby (due mid-March), hosted by Jan Murphy. It starts at 2:00 p.m. and details are on The City or RSVP to .

World Missions Potluck – March 13
Everyone is encouraged to come to a potluck to hear updates from our Ghanaian missionary Stephen Aputara, after the 2nd service on March 13. Please bring a main dish for 10 AND a salad or dessert to share.
