Bring filled Operation Christmas Child boxes on Sunday!

Operation Christmas Child – Drop off November 8 & 15
Sunday is the very last day to drop off your filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Complete instructions are at http://bit.ly/10Ohft5, or the bulletin insert, or flyers in the foyer, or in the Awana box outside the church office. Bring them to the table at the back of the auditorium on Sunday morning or the lower level during Awana today (4:00 to 5:30pm). No boxes can be accepted after November 15 because they will be taken immediately to a Samaritan’s Purse drop-off location.

Note: This is the usual weekly “Ridge Notes” but with the way our new website displays these posts we will be using different subject lines to highlight something from the full text each week. Check out the look of our new website — www.brbible.org

Women’s Christmas Brunch – December 5
All BRBC women (18 years & up) are invited to begin the holiday season together at a brunch on December 5 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Your hostesses will be our LIFE group leader wives and women from their groups. Sign up on November 22 and 29 at the back of the auditorium or on The City.

Did you know…
that on the auditorium foyer display wall there is a box with Sermon Notes pages especially designed for children, with prompts to help them look for the key points and applications, kid-style. Have your kids give it a try out on Sunday and see how much more they understand from the sermon.

Prayer & Praise
On Sunday we are hosting Caleb Kirschner from Gideons International in our worship services. Please pray for this organization which has faithfully distributed Bibles worldwide since 1899. Pray that the availability of God’s Word in hotels, hospitals, military posts, and other evangelism efforts would bring a great gospel harvest.

From 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13, Pastor Jack covered the difficult topic of lazy Christians in the church. Think maybe it could never apply to you or your kids? Download Dealing With A Loafer  for how this is relevant to us today.
