Christmas Caroling this Sunday + God’s Will

Remember that this Sunday evening (December 18) is churchwide caroling in the community! Meet in the sanctuary at 5:30pm to practice a bit and break up in groups for various locations. We’ll be back at the church around 7:15pm for cider and hot cocoa. Bring the whole family for this great evening together!

Christmas Plans
On Saturday, December 24, we will have our annual Christmas Eve Service at 6:00pm. Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the birth of our Savior together through song and Scripture. No childcare is provided. On Christmas Day the church family is invited to a short service at 11:00am only for a Christmas Day Devotional together. Childcare will not be provided, except for nursery age.

Year-End Giving
As we prepare to close out 2016, please note that December 25 is the final Sunday to put a check in the offering plate to be counted toward 2016 giving. If sending by mail, it must be dated and postmarked by December 31. Make 2017 a more generous, obedient, and consistent year through online giving on The City. Aren’t on The City yet? Ladies Bible Study – Believing God
Come and join us on January 10 for Believing God by Beth Moore, delving into the character of God. We will follow the Life Group schedule for two 10-week sessions and will have two weeks per lesson so the homework won’t be overwhelming. Childcare if needed is available at no cost to you. See the flyer this Sunday for details and to sign up on the City or at the table in the back of the sanctuary.

Life Groups Resume – Week of January 8
Plan now to join a group to better connect with your church family and to be encouraged and grow! See the flyer on Sunday for current groups and contact info or visit www.brbible.org/lg.

What is God’s Will for My Life?
On December 11, Pastor Jack cut through the mystery that often surrounds this question, sharing that God has clearly told us in His Word what His will is in a number of areas and also that we have freedom to make choices when it comes to decisions on non-moral issues. Listen to “What is God’s Will for My Life?” and be encouraged to make decisions in a way that reveals a life of grace and the Person of Jesus.
