Coffee, moms, town hall, membership + Power

Let’s praise God together for his faithfulness to send us Jesus, to provide the power of the resurrection to save us from sin and empower us for daily living the way He designed! Be praying for those baptized last week, Charity Geno, Clara Scott, Carolynn Hackett, and Colette Cefalu, and for all of us to live in this power.

Also be thinking and praying about your participation in our upcoming churchwide outreach, blessing moms in our community who haven’t yet experienced the power of Jesus! More details below.

Make plans to attend a town hall meeting on April 23 from 6:00-7:00pm in room 106. Instead of a vote, the elders invite everyone to come meet Bill Wilcox, as well as to understand more about the qualifications of elders.

Bless a Mom, Request a Basket – April 30
Are you looking for a way to engage intentionally with a mom who may not yet know Jesus? On Sunday, April 30, you have the opportunity to request a beautiful basket full of items to bless a mom you know (other than your own or someone at church) such as a friend, neighbor, store clerk, or coworker. On May 7, pick up a basket to deliver that week and see what God does!

The Power of the Resurrection
On Easter Sunday, Pastor Jack exhorted us with the truth that the power of Jesus’ defeat sin and death impacts us in daily, tangible ways. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power available to us to secure our rescue permanently, live freely and say ‘no’ to sin, and to serve God and do His will. Listen to “The Power of the Resurrection.
