Fun Family Evening of Caroling + Other Notes

Make plans to join with your church family for a fun evening caroling on December 18! Looking for an easy way for the whole family to connect with other BRBC families, our local community, and the real meaning behind Christmas? This is it! No preparation or supplies required. See more details below.

Parents of middle schoolers, this Sunday is the last day to sign your youth up for the reBOOT 2017 retreat. Debbie Stevenson will be available between services in the kitchen to notarize the required forms, which can then be given to David Parker with payment. Contact David Parker at with any questions or see details on the City

Churchwide Caroling in the Community – December 18
Come help us spread glad tidings to our community as we sing Christmas carols in neighborhoods around town and invite them to our Christmas Eve service. We will meet at church at 5:30pm, practice a bit, break up in groups for various locations, and then return to the church for cider and hot cocoa, ending at 8:00pm. Bring the whole family for this great evening together! Click for info on the City.

Christmas Plans
On Saturday, December 24, we will have our annual Christmas Eve Service at 6:00pm. Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the birth of our Savior together through song and Scripture. No childcare is provided. On Christmas Day the church family is invited to a short service at 11:00am only for a Christmas Day Devotional together. Childcare will not be provided, except for nursery age.

Year-End Giving
As we prepare to close out 2016, please note that December 25 is the final Sunday to put a check in the offering plate to be counted toward 2016 giving. If sending by mail, it must be dated and postmarked by December 31. Make 2017 a more generous, obedient, and consistent year through online giving on The City. Aren’t on The City yet? Aligning with or Opposing the Holy Spirit
Concerned if you’re heading in the same direction as God? What does it mean to quench the Spirit? Do you have wrong assumptions about how the Holy Spirit operates? On December 4, Pastor Jack answered these and other practical questions about how God’s Spirit engages with us on a day-to-day basis and what our response should be. Listen to “Am I Aligning or Opposing?”
