New Awana Year

Awana begins on September 13, 2015! Clubbers from age 3 to 15 come together to memorize God’s Word, play high energy games, and hear the Gospel presented and related to their lives.

What is Awana? Awana reaches kids through energetic game activities, Bible-based teaching experiences and small group time with friends. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ.

We LOVE Awana! Awana offers a fun, proven approach for early evangelism and discipleship. Scripture-based programs and exciting games attract families, promote Bible literacy and help kids develop lifelong faith in Christ. Awana challenges children to grow in their faith by memorizing scripture and understanding how God’s Word applies to their lives.

Kids in Awana discover God’s love and their identity in Christ and become disciple-making disciples who reach out to their friends. There is an out-reach element already in the program that encourages clubbers to invite their friends to come. Every week, clubbers are exposed to the Gospel of Christ. We see clubbers come to Christ each year!

God is using Awana at Blue Ridge Bible Church to reach our community. As soon as our last club ends, emails begin requesting information for the following year to get involved. We have an opportunity to touch children in our community with the Gospel of Christ each week!

Awana is a whole family involvement ministry. We have grandparents who are helping as leaders because they are committed to seeing the next generations after them come to a saving knowledge and deep commitment to Christ. We have an incredible leader-in-training program that helps teens ages 14 to 18 learn to lead younger clubbers and continue in their walk with the Lord while being discipled in their faith.

Registration will still be only $40 per clubber per year (or you may opt to pay $20 per clubber per semester.) This is still less than $2 per night!  On line registration will start on September 1st.

There is time if you feel called to participate as a leader. Our leader training will take place on Sunday, August 30 from 4 to 6 pm. We anticipate a dynamic year. Won’t you pray about how the Lord will use you in training boys and girls to serve Him? Please contact Earl and Geni Hall to volunteer or if you have any questions (, ).
