Scripture Memory – Romans 1:16

Some of us cringe when we hear “Scripture Memory” others get excited. No matter the side you stand on, I challenge you to put God’s word in your heart and humbly encourage those in your group to do the same.

As we store God’s Word in our hearts and minds it will overflow into conversations with those God puts in our path — including the lost.

This week is Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Review

This week we rolled out the roadmap of our new study on evangelism. We looked at our 4 key passages: Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 28, Acts 1:8, and Acts 8. For the next 8 weeks over the summer we will dive into each of these passages as we continually pray and seek the lost around us.

  • Isaiah 6:8 — Motivation for evangelism is based on gratefulness not guilt.
  • Matthew 28 — Evangelism is fueled by worship.
  • Acts 1:8 — Evangelism is done with God’s power.
  • Acts 8 — Examples and tips from Scripture on how to evangelize.
