We more then just survived the coldest weekend the past two winters have thrown at us, our group THRIVED in it. I mean … just look at these pictures! 

God answered so many prayers from physical protection of all involved, to the spiritual growth and relationship building of the students. 

The theme this years was on Identity. We learned our Identity is rooted back to our creator God – we bear His image and reflect Him, but sin hijacks that identity. By grace through faith in Jesus we can be restored and are given Jesus’ perfect identity and record of righteousness. (Gen 1:26-27; Eph 2:1-8) 

Who we are in Christ, our true Identity, gives us a purpose! Created and restored through Jesus Christ with specific good works that we are called to walk in (Eph 2:10).

Finally we learned that even through we all have the same root identity in Christ, He has created each of us uniquely and given us a different “S.H.A.P.E” (Spiritual gifts, Heart/passion, Abilities, Personality, and Experience). Real joy and fulfillment comes when we use our SHAPE to reflect His glory (Eph 4:1-16).
