Winter weather reminder. We’ll post on the City and church website if any changes will be made to scheduled church activities, especially with the snow season upon us. Please remember to check these before you come to church! Because we have so many people who live in areas where the roads get icy and don’t get cleared, we often decide to cancel Sunday services. Our staff tries to make the call by 7:30am on those Sunday mornings when snow has fallen or is predicted to fall during the worship times.
DNow Retreat Help – January 26-28
Pastor David is looking for folks willing to host 5-8 teens in their homes for two nights during this annual in-town retreat for our high schoolers. Also needed are 5 individuals willing to serve meals to the teens at Leesburg Community Church. Contact to help. More details and info for teens to sign up is on the City.
Baptism Service & Celebration – February 18
Our next baptism is a special night of worship and celebration on Sunday, February 18 from 6:00-7:00pm, followed by a fellowship time. If you or someone in your family wants to participate, email Brittany (). Parents, we have an excellent workbook that helps kids understand the meaning of baptism—visit the Welcome Center to pick up a book and have your child complete it by February 1 to participate.
You’re Invited: Town Groups on the City

This is to better assist our elders in shepherding those who call BRBC home, we are restructuring several key groups on the City. Town Groups (in addition to your Life Group) will be the best way to stay connected to others in your area. Our current Region groups will be phased out by the end of this month.
The Bedrock of God’s Love
For the next several months, Pastor Jack will be covering material from the “”http://bit.ly/2mlmUD1″ target=”_blank”>Discipleship of the Heart” booklet from our elders so we are equipped to BE disciples and MAKE disciples! Pastor Jack preached from Romans 8:31-39 showing that God’s extravagant, personal love is foundational to discipleship—what I truly believe is what I will pass on.
