Town Hall for Questions – August 28
Leadership recommendations and the proposed church budget for the next fiscal year are available on Blue Ridge Connect (click here to review them). Come to a Town Hall this Wednesday/August 28, 7-8pm only, to provide your direction on our church leadership and how we’ll spend your money next year! Also come to meet our leadership recommendations. The elders recommend the reelection of Steve Jessberger & Bill Wilcox as elders and Mike Horner & Steven Koleszar as deacons to new 3-year terms, and also recommend the addition of Jason Barr & Mark Dillmuth as deacons. All comments to the elders on recommendations or the budget must be provided prior to Sept 8.
Great Things celebration – September 8
Join us for a very special Sunday, as we close out our summer schedule! September 8, 11am-1:30pm, is when we will have this year’s Great Things celebration. One service only, at 11:00am, with a catered BBQ lunch afterwards. RSVPs are needed for lunch by Sept 1 (no exceptions possible). RSVP now! More details: We want to pause to celebrate all God has done in and through BRBC this past year with worship and a ministry year-in-review, and also commit the coming year to Him (11am-12pm). This year, we’re continuing the celebration with a catered BBQ lunch together, immediately following the service (12-12:45pm, $5/adult & $2/child). We’ll wrap everything up with a vote on leadership and how we’ll spend your money next year (12:45-1:30pm). Make plans to come, you are invited!
Ladies study & Moms’ Connection – September 10 & 12
Ladies, be sure take a look and sign up for these great things, starting soon! Ladies Bible study will use the book “Becoming A Woman of Prayer” (Cynthia Heald). Moms’ Connection will focus this month on “Joyfully Serving with Your Kids.” Click here to sign up online for either option.
