Fall Retreat Campout

Good food. Good friends/fellowship. Good fun!

Our theme is “REAL”: exploring the incarnation of Christ!
Cost: $35  

Dates: September 19-21

Check-in/drop off in Philomont: 4:30-5:00 Friday evening (9/21).  

Pick up at Church: Sunday after church (11:30am) at BRBC. 

We will be camping in tents, but are able to retreat to an enclosed barn for lessons and worship. And we can set tents up there if it rains. Guys and girls will be in separate “campsites” and will have access to running water and bathrooms.

SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: 

• Bible & notebook & pen/pencil
• Sleeping bag & pillow and extra blanket
• Lawn chair! 
• Flashlight – to see where you are going.   
• Water Bottle
• WARM CLOTHES!!! – including gloves and hat, coat
• Deodorant! – extra application of deodorant will replace your Saturday morning shower. 
• Favorite snack that doesn’t have peanuts/tree nuts in it. 
• A good attitude

• Can I bring my cell phone? 
  • We are trying to emphasize a weekend that fosters fellowship and community with those who are PRESENT. We do not want cell phones as a distraction or avenue to explore things happening elsewhere. We all want to be fully present. That said, if you’re confident the cell phone will not be a distraction to yourself and others and you’d like to have it to take pictures and capture our time together – then please do. But if leaders see it becoming a distraction, they have the liberty to take it until the end of the weekend.   
  • We want fellowship and community, not exclusivity.
• Ear plugs – cuz you know somebody is going to snore … and it will probably be me!
