The Women’s Ministry Committee invites all BRBC women to our 2026 Winter Bible study, continuing in the theme for the 2025-2026 year is “The Holy Spirit In Me” from Ephesians 3:16. The study will be using the book “Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit” by Beth Moore. The study will be held January 6 to March 24, at the locations and times below.

The author describes the study as an in-depth women’s Bible study of the fruit of the Holy Spirit as presented in the Book of Galatians. Each participant will walk through each fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, being encouraged to know the freedom of a Spirit-filled life. Through this study participants will look at the supernatural aspects of the fruit of the Spirit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Developing the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God results in living beyond yourself.

For those attending the Tuesday morning study, Karla Roberts and her teen helpers are returning to add a structured time of Bible teaching and other activities. It will be a fun learning time for all children. After the Bible time, there will be fun activities or an option of 30 minutes study time for home-schooled children older than 8. Please bring your kids to learn while you are learning!

The winter session begins the week of January 6 and ends the week of March 24. Please RSVP so that we know the numbers for each group and for childcare groups, and so that the leaders can contact you prior to the start of the study.

CHOICE #1 – Tuesday mornings at the church at 9:30 a.m. Childcare provided.

CHOICE #2 – Tuesday evenings at the church at 6:00 p.m. No childcare.

CHOICE #3 – Wednesday evenings in Purcellville at 7:00 p.m. No childcare.
