Gospel Project, Promotion Sunday, Fall Schedule – This Sunday
This Sunday morning, we are back to our fall schedule! What does that mean? Sunday School for all ages occurs at 9:30am. All classes use the Gospel Project curriculum, which teaches the beauty of how all Scripture points to Jesus. Parents, this Sunday is when your children will move up a year. Find classroom locations here. We encourage all adults to consider being a part of the class with elder Tim Murphy! At the 11:00am service only, Ridge Kids will be dismissed after singing.
Don & Phoebe Darling Reception – Sept 8
Don and Phoebe Darling are long-time members and missionaries of BRBC. You are invited to a reception in honor of their 70th wedding anniversary at Spring Arbor Assisted Living (237 Fairview St NW, Leesburg) on Saturday, September 8 from 3:00-5:00pm. See the City for more info.
Life Groups Resume – Sept 9
Re-connect with your church family through Life Groups—or better connect by joining a group for the first time—and be encouraged and grow! See a list of groups on the church website, or see the flyer in the bulletin on Sunday.
Great Things service & church vote – Sept 15
Join us for worship, a ministry year-in-review, votes on elders/deacons/budget, a fun coffee & tea bar, and root beer floats for the kids! 6:30-7:45pm only. We want to pause to note all the great things God has done in and through BRBC in the past year, and also commit the coming year to Him! See the City event to RSVP for childcare please! The proposed church budget for the next fiscal year, as well as photos/bios for elder and deacon candidates are on the City here; come with questions to our Town Hall on Sunday/Sept 9, 6:00-7:00pm.
Praying Together
Let’s praise God together for using our church family to come alongside our short-term mission service team going to Normandy, France this fall: God provided the full $2500 through their flamingo fundraiser which was matched to make their total doubled. Let’s continue to pray for the team as they prepare for what God has in store for them in France!
