In the month of August, we have an “Equipping the Saints” theme all about serving.

The ETS Ministry Expo under the tent will launch us into this! 

The Expo is our annual opportunity for you to learn about all BRBC ministries and available opportunities to serve. This is the time of year to recommit to serving with your current team, or to join a new one! Plan to stay after the service on July 28, and come browse the ministry tables under the tent. 

If you are new to a team, then signup to attend ETS Training this year on either Aug 11 or 18, 9-10am. 

All those serving in the coming ministry year are invited to attend the ETS Serving Banquet, on Sunday evening, August 25, 5:30-7:30pm in the sanctuary, with a taco bar dinner, team-building, and inspiring program to launch us into our coming ministry year!

** A grilled hotdog lunch will be available, with donations going to support BRBC families who are adopting children! Pre-purchase lunch tickets here to help them plan. **

Some current serving needs:

Awana: We gladly accept volunteers who are ages 14+ and who have a heart to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ.

Life Groups: Childcare workers and host homes

LifePoint: We need about 30 (couples and singles) hosts for the new center in the lobby.

Local Outreach: 

Ongoing need:

• People who have a heart to reach the unchurched community around us with God’s love and are available to join us the second Monday of each month 7-9pm.

Short term needs:

• Friendly greeters at the Purcellville Tag sale Saturday 10/12/24
• A few people to greet, welcome, or serve at the Exploring Relational Wisdom [ERW] Seminar 10/19/24
• Many people to put up flyers on community bulletin boards in businesses near you from 9/20 – 10/20/24
• A number of people willing to host either a walk-by yard sign or a drive-by yard sign 9/20 – 10/20/24

Men’s Ministry:

• Men willing to be trained to disciple other men (5 men)
• Men willing to help with Ironworks setup (2-4 men)
• Men willing to pick up or cook breakfast (2-4 men)

Women’s Ministry: 

• Help with discipleship/mentoring. 
• Teen girls to help with the discipleship in the Children’s Program. 
• Help with the women’s retreat, events, and Bible study.

Build the Playground: 

• We will need many willing hands to help out and install and do lots of manual work once the new playground is delivered! Dates are TBD.
