In the month of August, we have an “Equipping the Saints” theme all about serving.

The ETS Ministry Expo under the tent will launch us into this! 

The Expo is our annual opportunity for you to learn about all BRBC ministries and available opportunities to serve. This is the time of year to recommit to serving with your current team, or to join a new one! Plan to stay after the service on August 3rd, and come browse the ministry tables under the tent.

If you are new to a team, then plan to attend ETS Training (info here) this year on either Aug 10 or 17, 9-10am. Just show up!

All those serving in the coming ministry year are invited to attend the ETS Serving Banquet (info here), on Sunday evening, August 24, 5:30-7:30pm in the sanctuary, with a taco bar dinner, team-building, and inspiring program to launch us into our coming ministry year!

Current volunteer needs:

• Awana
  Leaders – to disciple a group of clubbers throughout the year and commit to faithful weekly service. This involves praying for your clubbers and attending weekly club meetings from 3:30 to 5:30 pm Sundays.
  36 BRBC leaders and 26 BRBC families currently attend!

• Children’s ministry: immediate needs
  – 4-5 volunteers to serve on ONE Sunday per month in the nursery or 2&3s classes (8:50a-10:00a -or- 10:00a-11:20a)
  – 2-3 Ridge Kids teachers to serve ONE Sunday per month, when kids exit the sanctuary during the sermon (10:45-11:15a)
  – Teachers for the 9:00a RIDGE class hour for Grades 1-2 and 3-5 (September thru May) 
  – 5-8 Teen helpers for Ridge Kids (girls or guys)

• Coffee bar team
  10-12 people or couples to rotate thru serving coffee and cleanup on Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30a

• LifePoint center host

• Local Outreach team
  2-3 additional BRBCers to join the team, meeting monthly

• Logistics (attendance, checkin, RIDGE setup, security)
  Security team: BRBC members who are willing to occasionally serve; duties include maintaining situational awareness, communications skills, and locking doors during Worship Services. 

• Men’s ministry
  We are looking to form a Men’s Ministry Committee of ideally 5-6 men. 

• Welcome team
  Friendly folks who want to help others feel seen and belong here! Serve on a rotation, about 30min total on your assigned Sunday(s). 

• Women’s ministry
  Children’s ministry workers for the Tuesday morning children’s program (9a-12p) and volunteers to help with women’s events
