The Trinity: What’s the Big Deal?

If you had to stand in front of a Roman Emperor and deny the Trinity to keep your life, would you? Is the fact that God exists in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) that big of a deal? This class will look at how the church understood its importance, why it still matters and what the practical implications are behind it today.

No prior theological knowledge is required! All you need is an open mind and a willingness to engage with complex biblical ideas. This is part of our ongoing RIDGE series called “The Stage of Truth: The Theology Program.”

Business After God’s Heart

The Spirit tells us in Acts 13:22 that David was a man after God’s heart. David’s psalms are poetic expressions of this heart. And in Matthew 12:34-35, Jesus tells us that from our heart come our words and deeds. In this class Bill Parker will lead us in a devotional study applying David’s psalms to our hearts in the context of business and workplace leadership as he shares his 20 years of devotional application of David’s psalms to his own heart, as reflected in his book, Business After God’s Heart.  Opportunities will be provided for personal follow-up related to specific spiritual challenges in business.
