Women’s Spring Bible Study

The Women’s Ministry Committee invites you to join the 2022 Spring Bible study of the Book of Ruth. We will use “Ruth: Experiencing A Life Restored” by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. She describes the study as:

“A suffering nation, reeling from famine, judgment, and war, Israel was a dark and unfriendly home for most, particularly for a woman. Even more so for a widowed woman. Ruth’s story begins in desolation. But as in every story whose Author is God, that desolation is not without a glimmer of hope. As you watch that glimmer of hope bloom into a dazzling display of grace, you’ll understand why the book of Ruth is called, by some, the greatest love story of all time. But this love story is much less about romance and more about restoration. It’s a story of how God can turn tragedy into joy, no matter how desperate our circumstances may seem.”

This six-session study explores the subject of restoration, walking verse-by-verse through the Book of Ruth, and it includes scripture memory, daily study, and group discussion questions. It  begins the week of  March 21 and ends the week of May 16 (which includes a break for Easter week).

Once again the Women’s Ministry Committee is offering free books to the first 25 who pick up one in the church office. Registration begins March 3, with the following choices:

CHOICE #1 – Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at church. No childcare.

CHOICE #2 – Wednesday mornings at the church at 9:30 a.m. Childcare provided.

CHOICE #3 – This is a self-organized option where you find a few friends to meet in person at a time that best fits the group or by zoom.
