Dear faithful supporters,

Thank you for continuing to pray for us! Many prayers have been answered and we have a lot to thank God for.

We have continued to teach at Burden Bearers Academy. This school is larger, but more primitive than Bible Church Academy. The majority of the students come from poorer backgrounds, and many families do not have enough money to buy textbooks or pay tuition costs. We are exploring ways we can help deal with these issues and improve the effectiveness of the school.

In the past two weeks, we also had the opportunity to present the Gospel at two schools; Burden Bearers Academy and a junior high school. It is hard to say how many students gave their lives to Christ, but we trust God that seeds have been planted in their hearts.

For the past few weeks we have been preaching regularly on Sunday. Each Sunday morning, the three of us split up and visit different churches. All the churches we have preached at are branches of Good News Bible Church, which is run by Pastor Aputara. We have learned many things from preaching, but one of the most important is that God delivers the message, not us. It has been a very humbling experience to share God’s Word with these congregations.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Please pray that God would give us wisdom in how to best use our project money to benefit the churches and schools.

2. Pray for unity in our team, that we would stay focused on our mission and not become distracted.

3. Pray for wisdom and guidance as we continue to prepare sermons and preach in churches.

4. Pray for our pastor Stephen Aputara, that God would give him endurance and strength to handle both our mission and his extensive church responsibilities.
