Gospel Project Returns & other great things too

The Gospel Project resumes this coming Sunday for all ages at 9:30 a.m. as we begin year two of our four-year journey through the whole Bible together. Please talk through with your children prior to arriving if they will be promoted to a new class and teacher this year.

To celebrate the Sunday school kick-off together, you are invited to come between 9:00 and 9:25 a.m. for DONUTS, STARBUCKS COFFEE, AND ORANGE JUICE. It’s first come, first served, and it will shut down at 9:25 in order for everyone to get to their classes or the worship service on time.

Middle School Youth Group Resumes September 7
Calling all 6th through 8th graders to our Middle School Youth Group’s first meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 7:00 to 9:00p.m. For more information and to volunteer to help, contact Julia Shaw-Fuller ().

LIFE Groups Begin Week of September 11
All LIFE groups will begin during the week of September 11. Read the bulletin flyer or go on the website for information on each one. Surely there’s one that fits you, your family and your location.

Annual Congregational Meeting & Town Hall
Our Annual Congregational Meeting and Potluck is September 24. The FY2017 budget was sent to members via The City on August 30. Copies are available for pick up today at the kitchen window. If you have questions about the budget, bring them to our Town Hall meeting on September 11, 6:00 p.m. Please RSVP for the meeting & potluck on The City.

Women’s Fall Bible Study – September 13
BRBC women are invited to study “Becoming A Woman Whose God Is Enough” by Cynthia Heald. Please sign up on The City or at the auditorium table on September 4 & 11. Participants must get their own book before the study begins. Free childcare is available but pre-registration of children is required to ensure we have enough childcare workers.

Andrew Peterson Concert – September 23

On August 28, Bill Parker helped us consider what a “Culture of Encouragement”  looks like in our lives and in our church. Hebrews 3:13 warns us that without giving and receiving encouragement we are exposed to attacks from within and from the world. God designed us for fellowship with Him and His people.
