Kingdom Calling opp: volunteer w/ Tree of Life – January 19
This is an opportunity that’s part of our Kingdom Calling focus, to be a part of the restoration Jesus is already starting to bring, here and now! Our local poverty relief parachurch ministry, Tree of Life Ministries, hosts its bi-monthly volunteer introduction program Saturday/January 19 from 9-10:00am at the Tree of Life Center. The new year is a great time to learn how you, your family, or your Life Group can volunteer with TOL and their work to help bring restoration in tangible ways in our community. Questions? Baby shower – January 19
Ladies, please join us for a baby shower honoring Sarah Cavicchi and Sarah Franco on Saturday, January 19 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the home of Karen Gill. This is for all BRBC women (16 years & above), regardless whether you know the expectant moms—come for fellowship! DNow high school retreat – January 25-27
DNow is our annual local retreat for our high schoolers that includes worship and teaching, guys and girls small group time, and overnight hosting by BRBC families. Signup and pay today ($50) at brbible.org/dnow or visit the table at the back of the sanctuary this Sunday. Willing to be a host home or a volunteer? Life Groups resume – week of January 6
Resolve now to join a group to better connect with your church family and to be encouraged and grow! Check out current groups and contact info here or in the flyer on Sunday.
Ladies Bible study – starts January 8
Join with other ladies on Tuesday mornings between 9:30-11:30am to explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, as well as enjoying prayer and fellowship together each week. Childcare provided free of charge. Signup is needed. RSVP at brbible.org/calendar, or visit the table at the back of the sanctuary on Sunday to signup and pay $10 for the book.
Moms’ Connection – January 10
Mom’s Connection is a group targeted at encouraging and equipping moms in their God-given roles, meeting bimonthly on the second Thursday from 9:30-11:30am. Our purpose is to provide Biblical perspective, fun, and refreshment as well as practical motherhood help. $10 if you pay ahead of time/$15 at the door. RSVP and pay on Blue Ridge Connect.
Praying together
This Thursday, Will Koleszar, John Richardson, and Tim Stocker leave for Ghana, West Africa to aid BRBC-supported missionary Stephen Aputara. Let’s be praying for them as well as Pastor Stephen during their 4-month trip from January through April! Donations can be made via brbible.org/give.
Claiming the Inheritance
