Info for a busy July 10 & other news

A Busy July 10 for All
This Sunday all members are encouraged to attend a very brief meeting immediately after the 2nd service to vote on the elders’ recommendation of Steven Jessberger for elder. Immediately after the meeting, the World Missions potluck with Joe and Denise Holman will be held in the auditorium. Everyone is welcome. Please bring your best main dish for 10 AND a salad or dessert.

Parents, the kids in VBS may remain downstairs if you are staying for the business meeting. However, parents must pick up your children from the nursery and 2/3s immediately after the service if you are staying for the meeting. No childcare is available during the missions potluck and children must stay with parents in the auditorium.

5-Day Backyard Bible Clubs Start July 11
This great neighborhood outreach begins this week. The locations and hosts are listed in the calendar section, and additional details are on The City. BRBC kids who live near these clubs are welcome to attend, but please contact the host families to let them know you are coming.

TOGETHER 2016 Conference – July 16
Join our Youth Group and thousands of other Christians in worshiping Jesus on the National Mall! The conference is free, and is an all day event (9:00am to 9:00pm) with dozens of well-known evangelical artists, speakers, and pastors, and is open to families or individuals. Contact David Parker () for more group details. For conference details click on http://bit.ly/29CfIzx.

Chillin & Grillin – August 7
Mark you calendars for our annual Grillin & Chillin at Franklin Park from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. It’s for the whole family and includes grilled hot dogs, watermelon, and lot of fellowship through Frisbee golf and other fun activities or just “chillin” with the church family. Access to the pool from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. is included. Cost is $5.00 per person. So that enough food is provided, you must sign up and pay CASH on July 17, 24 or 31 at the table at the back of the auditorium.

Pastor Jack shared from Hebrews 9:1-14 in our continued series on the Priesthood of Christ. Download “The Better Tabernacle” to find out why TSA performs the same task for us as the Tabernacle did for the Jews.
