Women’s Faith & Fellowship Event – This Evening
All BRBC women (over 16 years old) are invited to “Faith & Fellowship” at the church this Sunday evening from 7:00-9:00pm. This is an event just for fun and fellowship and to hear some more stories of faith like we heard at our recent conference. See details on the City or in the flyer in the bulletin Sunday for additional details.
Calling High School Graduates!
2017 high school grad? Have one in your family? This weekend is your last chance to email the graduate’s name to before May 22. We will be honoring our graduates (public, private, or homeschooled) in the June 4 worship services.
Vacation Bible School Registration
Registration is open for “Maker Fun Factory” VBS, running 9am-12pm the week of June 12-16 for ages 5-11. Cost is $20/child ($50/family max). Leaders and helpers (age 15+) are needed! Visit the table downstairs by the kids’ check-in room May 21, May 28, or June 4 to sign-up to participate or to help.
Backyard Bible Clubs – Churchwide Outreach
This is our churchwide outreach for the summertime—visit the table in the upstairs lobby on Sunday (or May 28 or June 4) to signup be a host home or learn how to support a club. Click here for ways you can pray, plan, and get involved! Our goals are to plant gospel seeds in the hearts of kids and to provide another opportunity to build relationships with our neighbors who do not yet know Jesus. Let’s start praying now as a church for this outreach!
Fear and Trust
Tim Murphy (one of our elders) continued a theme of “fearing not” by examining Mary’s response in Luke 1:26-28 and 46-55 to a situation that could have rightly caused her to fear. Instead she kept focused on God in a fearful situation and chose to trust in God’s person, provision, protection, and promises—and we can too! Listen to “Fear and Trust.”
