Membership, chill & grill, get trained + Vineyard

This Sunday, remember to come to the Membership Orientation at 9:30am in Room 104 to learn more about BRBC or to start the process to become a member.

If you’ve RSVPed for this Sunday’s Baptism w/ Chill & Grill, remember to please bring a side or dessert to share, and a camp chair or two if you have them! Details here.

Cross Training – August 18 & August 25
This is our annual event where we desire for each person who calls BRBC home to get trained up for ministry to our church family. Here’s what to do: Pick a ministry, pick a date to attend, and then RSVP by the Aug 11 deadline for free dinner, childcare, and participate in our mission to build believers! To help us plan dinner and the most effective training, please signup here! You can also see a list of ministries and descriptions at that link.

Great Things celebration – September 8
This is your heads-up for a very special Sunday, as we close out our summer schedule! September 8, 11am-1:30pm, is when we will have this year’s Great Things service with worship and a ministry year-in-review. We want to pause to celebrate all God has done in and through BRBC this past year, and also commit the coming year to Him (11am-12pm). This year, we’re continuing the celebration with a catered BBQ lunch together, immediately following the service (12-1pm, $5/adult & $2/child). We’ll wrap everything up with a vote on leadership and how we’ll spend your money next year (1-1:30pm). We’re having only one service, at 11:00am. We’re telling you now so you can make every effort to be able to come! Watch for full details and RSVP info starting next week.

Sunday service volunteer highlight: Security Team
Did you know that our church has a security team and a policy concerning weapons on the premises? We do! Our team is comprised of both armed and unarmed volunteers. Additional team members are needed. For concerns or questions regarding the BRBC weapons policy, contact elder Alan Bigler (). Should you have a desire to join our Security ministry, contact Michael Horner ().
