This Sunday (9:30am) is your opportunity to start the process to become a member of Blue Ridge or to learn more about us. Come to the membership introduction class on April 2, 9:30am in the library. The class is offered on the first Sunday of each month and is the intro for the self-paced online portion of the course.
This Sunday (12:30pm) is an informational meeting for the short-term mission trip to Mexico this summer. Come to the library at 12:30PM after 2nd service to learn more. See the City for details.
Plus a request: Are you looking for your place to serve? We are need of 1-2 more people willing to help make our baptisms happen. This involves assisting at the beginning of a baptism service with practical logistics (handing a towel, turning off lights, etc) and potentially overseeing the filling and emptying of the baptismal pool. Church Workday – April 8
Looking for a way to serve? We need YOU! Please make every effort to come out for our spring workday—it’s a time of good fellowship and serving together! Come for just an hour or the whole time, 8:30am-2:00pm. Key tasks will be leaf clean-up, spreading mulch, servicing and fixing equipment, and indoor cleaning. This is for all ages and abilities! French Lunch, Normandy Fundraiser – April 9
Soup, salad, French bread, and chocolate pastries … are you hungry yet? You can support the short-term mission service team going to Normandy in September just by enjoying lunch! Plan to stay after the 2nd service next Sunday for lunch in the quad. Gluten-free items will be available too. Suggested donation: $10 per person. Baskets of Blessings Churchwide Outreach – Help Needed
Ladies, do you have a heart to bless moms in our area who may not yet know Jesus? We need some extra hands willing to help out on a limited basis with a few tasks to make our next churchwide outreach a reality! We’re looking for those who are willing to pray, make a supply run to get items for the baskets, help assemble the baskets, and/or man the table when baskets are passed out to BRBC folks. If any of these roles catch your interest, please talk with Brittany or email . Thanks to those who have volunteered!
Congregational Meeting & Elder Vote – April 30
Plan to stay after the 2nd service on April 30 for a congregational vote on Bill Wilcox, who is being recommended by the elders to become an elder. A brief meeting and vote will immediately follow the 2nd service.
Jude & the Jud(g)e
Pastor Jack walked us through three obscure references from Jude 5-10, drawing the big idea that God brings divine judgment on rebellion. How does this idea affect us?
