Weekly COVID-19 message from Pastor Jack:
Check out brbible.org/update: That’s the page where any and all BRBC updates are being posted regarding church activities, as well as needs and ways to care for those around us.
Reach out to someone
Life Groups may be taking a break from meeting in-person, but they are NOT taking a break from praying, encouraging, and reaching out one-on-one! Let this time be a reminder about how God designed us to live within the blessings of being connected. Pick someone today to reach out to and check in—How are they doing? Do they have any needs? How can you pray? Check out the Life Group list here if you’re not yet connected & to find a group leader to contact today.
Community Care Team update
This is a great time for the church to BE the church. Let’s be praying for God to keep giving us His eyes and His heart toward the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us. Currently, we are ALL participating in our new Community Care Team! The update link above at brbible.org/update has several specific care prompts and specific timely needs from Tree of Life Ministries. Also, let’s remember—care starts within our church family! Do you have a need? Please don’t hesitate – reach out to the staff by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contact one of the pastors or life group leaders.
Women’s spring Bible study – starts March 24 via Zoom
Ladies, the spring study will continue as scheduled, with one notable change in location! Starting this Tuesday morning, 9:30-11:30am, we will meet virtually using the online Zoom platform. The study is around the movie “War Room” with a workbook leading us to see the power of prayer, evaluate our spiritual walk, learn accountability with other believers, and find our true identity in our Savior. Please RSVP here, get the link to purchase your book, and you will be contacted with instructions to join the Zoom group.
Youth Group – stay connected on BRC
And watch Pastor David’s video update recorded yesterday. He shares: “I recorded the lesson for youth group this week. I cut out 6 POINTS from the book of 1 Peter on how Christians are to live in times of uncertainty. We are certainly living in uncertainty 😉 But we can be certain of our hope in God!” Also, find the Youth Group small group you are part of in Connect. From there, you can message your group and continue to keep up.
Spring workday – postponed
We’ll be rescheduling our workday at the church for later in the spring.
Tithes & offerings
If you are used to giving on Sundays, consider giving online at brbible.org/give. Thank you!
If you missed the online service that Pastor Jack and Pastor Tom and team made available last Sunday, take some time and be blessed by it. Pastor Jack ministered to us with a timely reminder from Psalm 91 about God’s covering over us. Watch and listen to “Covering.”
