Ghana 3 potluck – May 26
Our Ghana 3 who just returned from serving in West Africa (Will Koleszar, John Richardson & Tim Stocker) invite you to stay after 2nd service a week from this Sunday, May 26, to hear what God did during their time there and how He continues to be at work in Ghana! Plan to come to the quad at 12:30. If you want to participate in the potluck, please be sure to bring a main dish to serve 10, plus a side or dessert.

Membership Orientation & Celebration – June 2

Summer Sunday Schedule – Starts June 2
Next Sunday/May 26 is the final day for Sunday School classes (kids and adults) until fall. From June 2-September 8, childcare is available for ages 0-3 during the entirety of the 9:30 and 11:00 services; ages 4-8 leave for Ridge Kids after worship.
Backyard Bible Clubs outreach
Some of our youth and families are again coordinating a summertime outreach, Backyard Bible Clubs. Visit the table next Sunday/May 19 to learn more and for sign-ups for both youth volunteers as well as host homes. Questions? Contact Sara Watson or Chris McKenzie.
Mosaic Baby Bottle campaign – May 19-June 16
We’re partnering with Mosaic Virginia Pregnancy Resource Center to help provide care and encouragement to mothers in crisis. Mosaic supports women by meeting their material and emotional needs so they can focus on giving life to their unborn baby. Pick up a bottle at the table at the back of the sanctuary on Sunday to get started—and simply return filled bottles by June 9 or 16! Learn more here.
The Dangers and Blessings of Motherhood
BRBC elder Tim Murphy taught us from the lives of Leah, Hannah, and Mary for a special Mother’s Day sermon that has application for all of us, about the blessings of God’s good gifts to us but the dangers as well.
