The Bible is one continuing story or picture made up of tons of mosaic tile stories that point us to our need for the God man, Jesus Christ. 

Sometimes we get so close to each little mosaic tile story we loose sight of the bigger picture. SO, attached is my attempt at providing a slightly zoomed out few of the Old Testament – poetic books and all. 

My goal was to provide the main idea from each book and to highlight some of the key themes that are repeated, emphasizing how one book leads into the next and to the next etc. 

We went through this with the high school youth group a few months ago, but I’ve made some adjustments since then. 

Anyway, I hope it’s helpful for someone. It’s been helpful for me to think through 😉
