Check out brbible.org/update: That’s the page where any and all BRBC updates are being posted regarding church activities, videos from Jack, as well as ways to care for those around us.

This week’s prayer points—praying together
Pastor Jack will be providing a couple of suggestions each week to focus our prayer for those in need. While we may be separate, we can join together in prayer! And remember, each Monday at 10:10am your staff and elders pause wherever we are and pray specifically for the unchurched. Set an alarm & join us!
– Our elders, pastors, staff, deacons, Life Group leaders & those they serve/lead
– People whose jobs and/or health are at risk
– Let’s remember our missionaries. Each of the Life Groups have adopted one, and you can too! They too are having to navigate in very different times, and would appreciate our prayers.

Do you have an avenue to a smaller group to ask for help if needed?
If not, we encourage you to contact a Life Group leader today to join a group, or reach out to the church staff. Now is the time to get connected within your church family. Life Groups may be taking a break from meeting in-person, but they are NOT taking a break from praying, encouraging, and reaching out one-on-one! Let this time be a reminder about how God designed us each to live within the blessings of being connected.

Updated suggestions on ways to care
This is also the time for the church to BE the church. Let’s be praying for God to keep giving us His eyes and His heart toward the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us. Currently, we are ALL participating in our new Community Care Team! Our page at brbible.org/update has several updated ways to care. Also, let’s remember—care starts within our church family! Do you have a need? Please don’t hesitate –  or contact one of the pastors or life group leaders.

Care for children & foster families
Church, here is a specific need shared from a local foster-care ministry: “Society stressors like this virus and the isolation that comes with it ALWAYS lead to increases in child abuse cases and severity. (Other states are already reporting it, and while you won’t see it in Loudoun County newspapers immediately, it is happening and there will be more kids coming into care.) Please pray for these situations and for homes to be available. Additionally, children who are currently in foster care are required to continue visits to their biological families, but these children do not have their normal structures (school, church, therapies) in place to help them cope. This creates a lot of extra emotional stress for them and the foster families caring for them. Please pray for these children and foster families.Interested in providing tangible help? One huge way to support these children and families is to provide a meal or take-out gift card. Click here to signup.

Good Friday: A Walkthrough Experience
In light of COVID-19 updates, this year’s Good Friday: A Walkthrough Experience has been cancelled. While we’re sad to share this, all the plans and effort will contribute to making next year’s Experience an even better one.

Tithes & offerings
Just a reminder that your giving can continue during this time! Giving options include check, bill pay, or online (via bank account preferred, to save on fees). Go to brbible.org/give. Thank you for helping us Communicate Christ, Build Believers, and Send Servants—and continue to care for our church family and local community with needs during this time!

Humble Beginnings, Incredible Destiny
In Isaiah 49, Jesus is referred to as the servant and expresses thoughts and feelings common to all of us: “Are you working, God?”, “Do these small steps of faithfulness matter?”, and “How long, Lord?” When we are tempted toward despair, let’s trust what God says: “I will not forget you” (verse 15). Watch and listen to “Humble Beginnings, Incredible Destiny.
