Missions Potluck with the Holmans – May 21
Our missionaries to Bolivia, Joe & Denise Holman will be here on May 21. Please stay after the 2nd service for a potluck to hear about what God is doing in their lives! Bring a main dish for 10 AND a salad or dessert.
Women’s Faith & Fellowship Event – May 21
The Women’s Ministry Committee invites all BRBC women (over 16 years old) to “Faith & Fellowship” at the church on May 21 from 7:00-9:00pm. This is an event just for fun and fellowship and to hear some more stories of faith like we heard at our recent conference. Just bring yourself and a friend too. See details on the City or in the flyer in the bulletin Sunday for additional details.
Calling High School Graduates!
If you are one, or have one in your family, email the graduate’s name to or put it on a comment card in the offering plate before May 22. We will be honoring our graduates (public, private, or homeschooled) in the June 4 worship services.

Prayer for Backyard Bible Clubs – Churchwide Outreach
This is our churchwide outreach for the summertime—our goals are to plant gospel seeds in the hearts of kids and to provide another opportunity to build relationships with our neighbors who do not yet know Jesus. Let’s start praying now as a church for this outreach! Be on the lookout for the sign-up table starting May 21 to volunteer your home or yard to host a club and see more details on the City for other ways to get involved.
Fear and Rebellion
Tim Murphy (one of our elders) walked us through Numbers 13:25-14:10, drawing out four common causes for our fears and matching them to four antidotes from God. In the face of our fear, He gives us Himself and His promises, He provides for us, and He protects us. Listen to “Fear or Rebellion.”
