FOOD, FUN & FELLOWSHIP REMINDERS
See below for details about a potluck this coming Sunday, and another potluck before our annual meeting on September 19, and our LIFE groups resume this week. Join in the Fall food, fun and fellowship opportunities with our church family!

World Missions Potluck on Sunday
This coming Sunday, September 13, we welcome our missionaries to Bolivia, Joe and Denise Holman. Joe will preach God’s Word in our worship services, and everyone is invited to a potluck after the 2nd service to hear more about what God is doing through them. Bring a main dish for 10 AND a salad or dessert to share.

Annual Congregational Meeting
Everyone (member and regular attender) is encouraged to attend our Annual Congregational Meeting and Potluck is September 19. RSVP on The City, or bring your best main dish for 10 people AND a salad or dessert. Childcare is available for ages 3-12. Teens to help with childcare would be appreciated; contact Regina Gossage, , to volunteer.

LIFE Groups Resume
This week begins our Fall 10-week session. The bulletin flyer provides a list of groups. After each service today come by the tables to meet the leaders. LIFE groups are the best way to develop relationships here!

Financial Peace University
Starting September 17 Financial Peace University classes begin on Thursday nights at the church at 7:00 p.m. This is the financial planning method developed by author Dave Ramsey. Childcare is provided. Register and purchase the materials you’ll need to succeed in the class. Then join the City group so that the leaders, Harley and Adrienne Green, can more easily keep in touch with you.

Middle School Campfire and Game Night:
All middle school students are invited to a campfire and game night Friday, September 18, 7:00 to 9:30pm, at the Craigs. This is the first of our monthly activities. For more information, contact Julia Shaw-Fuller ().

On September 6, we heard from Tim Murphy, the new chairman of our elder board. Tim gave us an introduction to The Gospel Project curriculum starting during the Sunday School hour, studying God amazing creative acts from Genesis Chapter 1. Download “And God said…”  and consider getting involved in The Gospel Project during the 9:30 worship hour.
