Romans 3:10 — Memorize & Review

Romans 3:10  …as it is written, “There is none righteous, not even one;”

Before you start memorizing … what’s the point?

You may already know this verse or can easily memorize it the day of, or even during the lesson next Wednesday. But I encourage you to write it down somewhere that you will see it often. Read the chapter or chapters leading up to it. Consider the implications.

The point is to know and love Jesus. Understanding that apart from Christ we are have no righteousness (so don’t fool yourself). This makes us appreciate the fact that HE gives us HIS righteousness by grace through faith and HE is “with you aways, even to the end of the age.”

This is something that WE ALL MUST daily grasp and as we do it becomes more natural to tell those who don’t know Jesus. People need to know the problem before they can appreciate the solution — our Savior.

This week we talked about Matthew 28:19-20 and there were two take-aways I just want to remind you of:

  1. “as you are going” be sensitive to the people God has put in your life now = today. Look for opportunities to share the gospel because we are called to make disciples as we are going.
  2. Jesus is with us! ALWAYS. HE is our reward. We don’t measure success by numbers or productivity. We rejoice in the fact that He has invited to take part in the glory of speaking life into people who are lost — as we once were.
