Pakistan Children’s Rescue – month of June
Join in a fundraiser to meet a special need identified by our World Missions team, together with BRBC ministry partners in Pakistan. All through the month of June, listen for highlights about the Pakistan Children’s Rescue. Begin to prayerfully consider now how God is leading you to get involved! Check out the bulletin flyer on Sunday and visit brbible.org/rescue at any time to learn more and give.
Summer Bible studies – starting June 10 & 11
Ladies, you are invited to consider joining a Bible study group this summer! Debbie Stevenson will host a Monday evening study (7-9pm) on “Encountering the Person of the Holy Spirit” and Breana Parker will host a Tuesday morning study (9:30-11:30am, w/ childcare) for moms of any age using the book “Grumpy Mom Takes a Holiday.” Both meet at the church. Be sure to register, get your books, and more details at the links above!
As they enter their graduation week, this Sunday we’ll celebrate with and pray for God’s continued guidance and closeness through His Spirit for all of our 2019 grads! May you continue to walk in the Lord Jesus Christ just as you received him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7).
Pastor David Parker taught from Amos 2 that sin sucks the life out of my relationship with God and relationships with those around me. Even as believers who have been rescued through Jesus from sin’s condemnation, we need to take sin seriously and respond as God instructs. Listen to “Sin Sucks.”
