Two events for our college group & week’s news

ATTENTION NEW GRADUATES (or parents of graduates):
In order to welcome our new high school and college graduates to our college-age group, called Refuge, the group will be getting together at the Purcellville Sweet Frog on Friday, June 24, at 7:00 p.m. So come on by and meet everyone! ALSO, Melissa Jessberger is organizing a Refuge trip to Cobb Theater in Leesburg to see “Finding Dory” on Saturday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m. To RSVP to one or both events, or if you have any questions about Refuge, email Lindsey Rogan at .

REMINDER TO THE LADIES — Sunday evening is our first time ever Bunco Bash from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. RSVP on The City in the calendar, or at the table on Sunday. It will be great fun and a chance for you to invite friends. Besides the game, Tami Dantzlerward will share a short devotional from her life.

Help for the Church Nursery
Ladies, if you would like to fill some needs in our nursery, here’s a wish list. of things needed to stock the nursery  Another way to help is by contacting Bethany Johns to be on our rotation schedule to serve once a month during either worship service. Workers must be at least 13 years of age. Contact Bethany at .

Congregational Business Meeting – July 10
Members please come to a brief meeting immediately after the 2nd service to vote on the elders’ recommendation of Steven Jessberger as an elder.

Potluck with the Holmans – July 10
Our Bolivia missionaries, Joe and Denise Holman will be here on July 10, just before they return to Bolivia from their furlough this year. Everyone is encouraged to attend a potluck after the 2nd service to hear news about their ministry. Please bring your best main dish for 10 AND a salad or dessert.

Praise & Prayer
Remember to pray for our Road to Romania Team. Pray for safekeeping, good health, and abundant impact for God’s Kingdom. This coming week they are finishing up their greenhouse projects and VBS in the public parks, as well as getting ready to return home on July 3.

Just as God the Father blessed God the Son in Matthew 3:17, fathers should bless their children. Let your kids know that you love them and are proud of them. And for everyone, know that if you are in Christ, God the Father looks down at you and says, “This is my beloved child, in whom I am well pleased.” Click here to download “The Father’s Blessing”.
