We need YOU: cross training + 2 pathways

Have you RSVPed for cross training? For planning purposes, we really need your help with dinner #s and childcare #s! This Sunday is the final day to complete the cross-training flyer in the bulletin and drop it off at the table under the logos. Or, click here to see the flyer and email Brittany () your responses! More details on the Aug 19 & Aug 26 training and ministries below.

Parents, if your children are active in BRBC’s Children’s Ministry, we ask that you serve at least once per month in this area.

Cross Training – Sign-up deadline Sunday!
Cross training is our annual event where we desire for each person who calls BRBC home to get trained up for ministry to our church body! Pick either August 19 or 26, 5:30-7:30pm, and come for free dinner for the whole family, childcare, and training. Take a look at the bulletin flyer on Sunday for info on different ministries! RSVP using the flyer and drop it off at the table at the back of the sanctuary this Sunday, or email Brittany by Monday ().

American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls (AHG) is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5 to 18 that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement. AHG Troop 711 meets at BRBC on Monday evenings, starting in September. Visit the table at the back of the sanctuary after the service on Sunday to ask questions and talk with BRBC families who currently participate.

Praying Together
The Joni & Friends missions team who served children with disabilities at family camp last week made it home safely! Let’s praise God for the 14 from BRBC who loved on kids and gave respite to their parents—and pray that their time spent serving continues to impact their hearts and draw them closer to God.

Two Pathways
Continuing in a summer series on “Living Well,” Pastor Jack preached from Proverbs 4:10-19 about two pathways: the pathway toward wisdom, which is Jesus, and a living faith that acknowledges through trust how He is at work in our moments—and the pathway toward evil, which speaks not only to actions but to our motivations toward selfishness, self-reliance, etc. Listen to “Two Pathways.
