WEATHER ALERT – As we all are aware, weather reports are preparing us for a big snow adventure this weekend. We will notify you of Sunday schedule changes and/or cancellations by Saturday evening or definitely by early Sunday morning. Please check The City or the website before coming to church on Sunday. Also, this would be a great time to think of your neighbors and needs they may have. Maybe it will be difficult for some to shovel snow? Or maybe some fresh baked bread or soup would open opportunities to get to know them? Stay safe and warm, enjoying God’s creation.
Souper Bowl of Caring Outreach Opportunity
Take some information cards from the table at the back of the auditorium to hand out to your neighbors this coming week. Designate a time with your neighbors to pick up the food and bring it to church on January 31 and no later than February 7. Souper Bowl of Caring is a church wide outreach which will impact our community on multiple levels. This outreach will introduce us to our neighbors, feed the hungry through the collection of non-perishable food from our neighbors, and hopefully begin to establish relationships too.
Women’s Coffee & Conversation – January 25
All BRBC women (18 years & above) are encouraged to come to our next Coffee & Conversation on January 25. Complete info is on the bulletin flyer. RSVP on The City or contact our hostess Jan Murphy (email@example.com or 540-338-2480).
Romania Team Bake Sale This Sunday
The team invites you to purchase more goodies this week at their table in the main foyer, to help fund their projects this summer
Prayer & Praise
As we commemorate the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, we include the sanctity of all life at all stages and abilities. We praise Him for wonderfully designing each person for His purpose. We are reminded to pray for our country’s individuals, leaders and churches to stand for righteousness.
We praise Him for our newest members: Frauke Agha, Jason & Jackie Allen, Bijan & Catherine Gilanshah, David & Nicole Kavin, Gabriel Lott and David Watson. Please pray for them and for the ways in which God may use them to minister in our church family.
On January 17, Pastor Jack taught from Hebrews 1:4-14 focusing on a comparison of Jesus with the angels. Can there even be a comparison? Find out by downloading “Who’s Greater — A Servant or a Son?” to hear how His Son is God’s highest and fullest message.
