SUNDAY MORNINGS
We value biblical instruction.
The Bible is the very written word of God, the final authority for our lives, sufficient to show us who He is and who we are to be. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Isaiah 40:8.
Join us for 50-minutes of in-depth Relevant Instruction, Doctrine, & Guidance to Equip Believers for Life–RIDGE classes–for adults, youth, and children down to 18 months.
This class is DVD- and workbook-based, by phenomenal pastor and teacher Paul David Tripp. From his website, his “driving passion is to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life.” That’s what this class will help lead you toward—connecting the transforming power of Jesus to the everyday life of your marriage!
David & Chris have been married for 24 years and have tons of experience and stories. They’ll facilitate this class, lead discussion, and be available to you on this topic. (www.paultripp.com).
The Stage of Truth: What does the Bible say about humanity?
Facilitators: Justin Boswell & Rob Hackworth
Our next dive into better understanding God will be by focusing on what role we (humanity) have in relation to God. We will take time to thoughtfully explore the questions of why God created us, and how sin, both pre- and post-Fall, has affected our relationship to God. In addition, we pray these sessions will also motivate us to have God’s heart for those around us who are still lost on their way to Him.
(This class is course #4 using the “Making Theology Accessible” materials; Pastor Jack often shows the “stage of truth” from this program as a key reference point for us understanding our faith and today’s culture. We went through courses 1-3 last year and plan to continue this year!)
During this session, we will also debate the questions of free will. Our intent in doing this is not to present one-sided information, but instead we will delve into a presentation of major views from fellow Christians over the ages.
By gaining a better understanding of these topics, we will continue to grow a solid biblical worldview. Why is this important? Because it directly impacts how we see ourselves, and ultimately how we treat each other, and how we love our God.
RIDGE Kids Classes
A safe, fun time of childcare with a rotation of BRBC teachers and helpers.
This class is going thru a rotation of ALL the main Bible stories, plus a fun play and singing time! Our amazing BRBC member Jodi Benedict will continue as your 4&5 year olds teacher.
Parents, we’re using the Gospel Project to come alongside you and reinforce teaching your children the Bible. The Gospel Project is more than a story – it’s good news! Through the weekly Sunday morning lessons, kids will be immersed in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Kids will begin to understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.
1st-2nd are taught by our amazing BRBC member, Nellie Elliott, and helpers.
3rd-5th are taught by our amazing BRBC member, Chris Rogan, and helpers.
RIDGE Youth Classes
Fun, fellowship and a growing confidence to study the Bible in community and on your own. We will have fun together, share prayer requests – but our main goal for this hour is to learn skills that build our confidence to understand God’s Word.
From Pastor David: “For our Middle School students – we are doing a Bible study on the book of 1 Peter. Not only are there remarkable insights and wisdom on how to live day to day, but students will also be shown how to look at the Bible and understand it on their own. The class will be taught by Leanne Manzo who has been working with students for over ten collective years. She has great love for the Lord, a degree in biblical counseling, and personally I think the biggest credential may be her genuine care and ability to understand and connect with middle school students.”

We are using the Interlocked Bible study curriculum which integrates the Genesis-to-Revelation narrative, doctrine and apologetics for believers to live as thriving disciples of Christ. Some of the class objectives include:
- Build a framework for explaining and defending the faith.
- Understand the gospel from a broader perspective.
- To show who God is through an enlarged vision of Him as revealed in Scripture.
- Allow the Bible to interpret the world.
- Show the Bible’s metanarrative.
