Membership orientation & celebration – March 1

Time of prayer together – March 2
Intentional, corporate prayer together is a crucial way we gain perspective and fight on behalf of our church family and community. Come and go as you need to Monday evening, March 2, between 7:00-8:00pm. Enter on the upper level, we’ll be in the sanctuary.
Moms’ Connection – March 5
Mom’s Connection is a group targeted at encouraging and equipping moms in their God-given roles, meeting bimonthly on the second Thursday from 9:30-11:30am. Our purpose is to provide Biblical perspective, fun, and refreshment as well as practical motherhood help. $10 if you pay ahead/$15 at the door. Interest meeting for Community Caring Team – March 11 or 18
We’re looking for people interested in caring for our community and also motivating our church family in this area. Is that you? Our leadership would like to task a group of people with forming a team with this purpose. Come to an “interest & exploration” meeting, either Wednesday/ March 11 or Wednesday/March 18, 6:00-7:00pm and learn more. We’ll explain more about the goals and you’ll be a part of giving feedback. Leading up to Easter – next 6 weeks
This past week marked the beginning of the six-week period leading to Good Friday and Easter, where we both mourn our sin that took Jesus to the cross and also rejoice at His resurrection to defeat sin, death, and brokenness! Be on the lookout for all the details about our Good Friday: A Walkthrough Experience, returning this year. Let’s use the coming weeks as an intentional time to be prayerful about responding to God’s Spirit, as He works in us, and to invite someone who needs Jesus to the Experience.
Building exits
Our Worship Security Team helps us ensure a safe and secure environment at church. They would like to remind us that in the event of an emergency requiring us to leave the sanctuary, the main exits are through the upper- or lower-level sets of glass doors, with an additional exit via the west stairwell by the kitchen. For classrooms, evacuation routes are posted by the light switch in each room and may include exiting through maintenance or storage rooms.
